| The bargirl will have shoes, but since I definitely need to work on hand and foot modeling, I decided to model the foot and toes. |
|
| So far, on this model I've used several modeling techniques. The initial model was a detailed spline model. The detail of the spline model allowed me to go to point-to-point modeling instead of patch modeling. At that stage, point-to-point is a lot faster than it sounds, because there's no guesswork involved. I was just connecting the dots of the spline cage which was on a separate layer. From there, I switched back and forth from polygon to subdivision modeling to edit shape and form. I then added the hands and feet using box modeling and Lightwave's smooth-shift tool. |
